Parents search differently from adult clients. They look for age-appropriate styles, school-ready braids, a stylist who welcomes children, clear prep instructions and reassurance that comfort matters as much as neatness.

What age does Natae Hair & Beauty style children?
Children’s appointments are available for ages two and over. The exact style should still be chosen around the child’s hair, comfort, appointment tolerance and the finish a parent wants.
Can I book school braids or a birthday style for my child?
Yes. Kids styling can be planned for school, birthdays, outings and everyday wear. Send the reference image and mention whether the priority is simple daily maintenance, a special occasion or a particular braid pattern.
What if my child says the braids hurt?
Pain should not be treated as a normal part of braiding. Dermatology guidance warns that repeated tension can damage the hair and scalp, so speak up immediately if a style feels painfully tight.
Protective styling should not mean painful styling.
If braids, cornrows, locs, weaves or extensions feel painfully tight, cause persistent stinging or visibly pull the hairline, speak up. The American Academy of Dermatology warns that repeated tension can contribute to traction alopecia.
